Still Waiting 1/22

Placed my order 1/22 and have yet to get a scheduled date. Anyone else place an order on or after that date and get their build date yet?

Got my confirmed order e-mail on 2/1, nothing else so far. I was thinking I might get a build date by mid-March, big might there. I’m just optimistic because that’s when my birthday is and a build date would be a good birthday gift from Ford.

I ordered 12/23, confirmation 12/27, haven't heard anything else. Seems like a crapshoot as to when people get their vins. Some get it within a week, some a few months, and some never actually hear from ford directly again.

I have come to the conclusion that mine will be around june/July guess I can see what level kit people are putting on and any other cool things till mine shows up 6 months later

Ordered 12/23. Confirmation only same day. Good news is I called the ford number someone recommended on here 1 800 334 4375 trying to get updates. I asked about PCO’s. He said I have one for me and one for my wife, she ordered a explorer, $1,000.00 each. I called my dealer and surprise surprise he verified. Saved $2000.00

Ordered 14 Jan and recieved the confirmation e-mail two hours later. Nothing since then. I am thinking maybe I will see it June/July. I would like to sell my Grand Cherokee now since I can get alot more $$ since used car prices are out of control. I do not want to use my 99 Wrangler as a daily driver for a unknown amout of time, so I will wait.

Okay, now this is some BS, I ordered 1/12, received confirmation same day, but nothing else. How exactly does Ford’s ordering system work?

Does dealer allocation have anything to do with it? Or are orders not affected by that?

I have heard dealer allocation plays into it; dealers with higher allocation might get some orders faster. I don't have any way to confirm this though. That and trim levels might explain why some of us who ordered in December haven't gotten a VIN, while some who ordered in January have.

Maybe allocation? I was told this was the first ‘22 Tremor the rep has ordered for someone. Also read something about priority #s assigned to each build. My brother just bought a lariat from the guy so maybe he was doing me a solid prioritizing it?

I know my dealer told me this was the first f150 tremor they've ever ordered, they did an f250 tremor sometime last year. That's the only other one. For about a month I've been trying to figure out what causes the differences in time. At first I thought it was because the dealer I ordered from is in a small town, but another member ordered theirs from a small town and had an overall turn around time of like 30-some days. Sometimes I think they just throw a dart at a map and whatever dealer they hit, gets theirs next....(it would also seem that sometimes they just completely miss the map)
