Our tremors do not come with e rated tires. When in the mountains will the stock tires work. I get into some steep rocky scary stuff. Thoughts on talking with dealer and trade them out before taking ownership? What should I get?

Get E rated tires.
😉
Not sure how willing / able your dealer is, but you might end up better off selling the factory tires yourself with almost no miles and buying what you want.
There’s a good thread on here about tires specifically.
(I hear over and over running trails in Colorado that the number one vehicle part casualty off road is tires. Sharp rocks, rough treatment, and weak tires don’t end well. I’ve loved the Cooper ST Maxx and Cooper AT3 XLT. Tough and long lasting.)

Thank you for the info. I’ll have to read through the tire posts but agreed the roads I travel in Colorado are scary brutal and tires are the tip of the spear. I assumed we would get tires to match what the truck is made for.

Understand the frustration. Ford gave the Tremor tires to meet the tow figure they wanted, maximize fuel economy, the best ride, and a good look. Not to be the toughest. They probably know those that are going to SERIOUSLY push the truck towards its design intent will put different tires on it anyways. It’s a consumable item. Just think of it that way and get what’s going to give you piece of mind. I’ll bet you can sell the stock ones easily for a good chunk.
