The sliding door of my center console won't open. When to my dealer to fix it they because I had a kill switch installed and thought it was the installer that put something in behind. Then he told me that a gift card could of been stuck in there. Then I thought and said yes I was looking for it this morning and couldn't find it so that's what most be there not allowing my sliding door not to open.
What I'm asking is if this happen to some else and how did you get it out ? Been trying to find video's on how to remove the center console or the glove box to retrieve the card. Any suggestions?

Mine is doing the same thing from day 1. Taking it into the dealership for them to take center console apart.

What sliding door are you referring to? I just have the non work surface console. Making sure I'm not missing anything.

yes, that's right rkrichter.

I guess no one has had this issue? I'm going to try what some You tubers suggest and let you know how it turns out

I have not had this issue. That being said, I also don't think I've attempted to close the door since I brought the truck home 6 weeks ago haha.

I too have not had this issue, and I have opened/closed the door several times since I have brought the truck home just over a month ago.

Might be able to get it if you pull the center stack and the lower trim which holds the push button start (have to remove upper screen trim to get the lower trim > lower trim to get AC > AC to get center stack) if it's stuck in the upper portion. not sure exactly how the mechanism works but i can assume theres spring and gears/latch. if somethings lodged in/busted not in the upper portion of the door it's likely in the tracks/latch or the spring has jumped out. i'd imagine getting that section of the dash out requires even more than AC controls/center stack though.
