Current Ride
'23 Tremor
Started doing some research on my next (and last) full size truck in late May, drove Tremor at a semi local dealership in June, ordered my '23 three weeks ago.

My first truck was a '70 F-100, followed by a '96 Ranger (transmission grenaded), '97 Ranger, 2001 Ram 1500 Off Road, and finally my current '17 Ram Rebel.

Don't do much off road play these days, but love the capability. As they say, better to have and not need vs need and not have.

Went with Avalanche, 3.5l TT Ecoboost, 402A package, 2 KW onboard power (Youngest just dropped at college, 4 more years of tailgating😁), Front Torsen, Trailer Tow package, B&O 18 speaker audio, spray in bedliner, Soft Tonneau, Block Heater (Son at Fort Wainwright, Fairbanks. Road trip!), and a few other things. Looking forward to the new ride.

Lots of good info on the forum, will mostly lurk until I take delivery.

My order got placed around the same time except without the 2k onboard or Block Heater and in black. Fingers crossed that the wait doesn't take us too far into the new year and past the 6 month mark

With a user name and profile pic like that, are you a pilot? Welcome to the forum and congrats on the order - the trucks are great. Best set your wallet in the other room while you're poking around the forum waiting on delivery. ;)
Seriously though, start thinking about floor liners and other simple but functional mods. Helps pass the time.

I have a estimated delivey date of 04-10 Sept. So it has taken a while. The wait is unforgiving and sets no logical pattern. Good luck.

I'm thinking realistically February time line, though I'd love an unexpected Christmas present!

I am, less than 4 years left until retirement. 😁 My wallet has been mostly drained by colleges, but my cars and trucks haven't always been easy on it either!

Congrats on the order @777 - Avalanche is my favorite color, it's going to look sharp!

I just got my order confirmed yesterday for an Avalanche 402A as well: tow package, torsen, work surface, and bed utility package.

I originally had the 2kW power on there, but realized I don't have much use for it since it can't power our little trailer and our trailer has 200Ah of lithium ion batteries with a 100W solar panel so it's not really all that concerning anyway. I pretty much never use the outlet in the bed on my Tacoma but almost always use the bed lights and tie downs, so figured that was a better use of that $900.

Just hope they don't start cutting actual functional stuff again since I had to cancel my 2022 order due to some of the features they removed that were too useful in my opinion to give up at this price point (one of the reasons I said screw it and went for the 402A this time, assuming they'd be less likely to pull them from the higher trims). We'll see though!

Going to be a doozy of a road trip driving from Granger back to Seattle when the time comes, but at least it'll put the truck through its paces.

Had the same thought myself with 2kw. I heard due to high sensitivity, you can't really take advantage of the full 2kw of power.. plus it lowers your overall payload due to the weight of the inverter. I ended up not going with that 2kw option, and instead opted for foldable partitioned lockable storage. You get more storage space without the 2kw inverter. I figured with the weight and cost savings, I could just buy a 2kw portable inverter generator and carry it around with me anytime I need it instead.

I order the 2KW and lockable partitioned storage.

(Rainy) Delivery day🙂

Congrats! What do you think so far?
Love it! Drives well, very comfortable, and very capable.

There are some differences from my Rebel that I will have to get used too. I do not love the infotainment system as of now, not as intuitive as the Ram's, but that is just a learning curve. The only other minor gripe I have is the cup holders, the tension in the retainers is pretty high, liked the flexible rubber ones in the Rebel better. Very minor, nitpicky stuff.

For now, just Husky rear wheel well liners and mud flaps, down the road I'm looking at a nice package that Shock Surplus has. Assembled Bilstein 6112's struts and springs set at 2.5" for about a 1 to 1.5 inch lift, with B8 5100 rears. For now though, I'm happy with stock.
