Dude - that color looks really good with the stealth wrap!

How hard was the vent lighting to install? Any tips?

The vent lighting was a pretty simple install. It's easy to get to and really took no time at all. They send you easy to follow instructions. Stick the wire through a vent hole, silicone the strip in place, run the wires and tie them in. They have you run them to your parking lights, I actually ran them to an aux switch.

Did you run the grille lights to an aux as well?

Looks really nice, @alangfor - would you be up for posting links for sources on lighting components? Have been planning to do the vent lights after delivery, but those grill lights look pretty sweet too.. Thanks!

I did. I may eventually run them to the parking lights but I wanted the option to turn them on and off until I got a feel for them. I crimped Deutsch connectors on my aux switches and pass throughs. It makes it very simple to switch things around as it's plug and play.

Both lights came from f150leds.com, Deutsch connectors from Amazon.

The wires are located behind your battery. See pages 636-638 in your manual. Mine were a pain in the ass to get to, had to remove the battery and battery tray. Extended the wires before putting on the connectors so I would never have to go through that again. I used switches 4 and 5 for mine as 6 goes to my radar detector. I would save 1, 2 and 3 for higher amperage accessories.

Nice. Really appreciate the links and additional details, re install.

I have t looked at specs yet, but do you think/know off the top of your head if I can wire the 5 grill light kit and the vent light from f150leds to switch 6?

Well that sounds like a fun Saturday install :)
Thank you for the detailed post and I look forward to getting my set!

They don't have specs of the lights on their website so you would have to call to be sure. My guess is the amps are pretty low. If you're combining them you could put them to switch 4 which is 10amp just to be sure. Also forgot to mention earlier that the switch wires are 1.0mm which is about 17 gauge wire. I used 16 gauge primary wire and 16 gauge pins on the Deutsch connectors.

Wow that looks really good. That color is awesome too.

What lug nuts did you go with? I was trying to find the right Gorilla set (link or part # please)
