Let me first start off by saying, I haven’t put any of this on my to do list. My interest was sparked when I seen the side vent lighting.

I noticed a Side Vent LED Kit and thought it would be pretty nice if packaged with a front grill look.

For the front grill I was thinking two Orange defused light strips behind the two grill stripes. I think it’s important to stay away from the Raptor style grill amber lights — Tremor is it’s own thing and not a baby Raptor.

Now, since we are dealing with adjacent turn signal Orange up front, I think the Tremor Orange accent lights should match so there isn’t a clash.

Other ideas include:

1. Change out of Ford Interior Blue Ambient Lighting to Tremor Orange
2. Orange defused light under the tailgate to match front — not a brake light

Not my cup of tea, but it's your truck to enjoy and mod.

Late to the conversation and was curious if you tried out the amber backlighting idea for the grill. I'm considering the same idea....

I have done the side vents to date. There are some others that have gone much further with side step lighting etc.

So I’m playing around with some neon led strip and the grille. There are 2 groves that are pretty perfectly sized for this neon strip lighting.

Wow! What led strips are they? The last two photos are the perfect color — did you dim them to achieve this or is it the camera?

I like the placement you found. I wonder if you could replace the center segments somehow?

The strips are just some orange Neon LED strips off Amazon.

The color difference is just the camera and the time of day I took the pictures I think.

The awesome part is that when off, the strips are pretty dang close to the color of the grille accent.

I definitely would prefer to illuminate the center strip, but I really need the orange prices to be transparent.

Can they be mounted behind for an ambient type of effect?

Yea you could definitely mount some led strip around the outside of the grille(inside) to give an ambient lighting look to the grille.

Could you link the item you bought off Amazon for reference? The colour matching is pretty dang close.

I meant just across the line on the inside, to make like an ambient strip. If there was room right behind it, honestly I haven't looked yet.

That’s an idea. I’ll toy with it when I take the grille off to figure out the best way to mount.

IMO that could be just enough to pop but still not be too street racer lol. I'd love to see some pics of how it looks when you get around too it.

Ok so I had some time today to do the install. I have to say, taking the grille off is kind of a pita.

But alas, I chose to only do the top for now. There isn’t a great way to mount in the location I chose. Im still mulling over a possible bracket to make mounting the strip easier/ allow for a straighter line.

I think it’s pretty cool looking. Deciding whether to add a lower one as well.

Definitely cool looking and the light matches well imo. I may take a stab at mounting it behind the center like we spoke about before because I feel like that could be a nice not too obnoxious glow...how exactly did you mount it?

Keep us up to date if you do more!

I just used 3m double sided tape. Seems to be pretty well stuck on. But it’s certainly not perfect. But I didn’t have a ton of time to try and fabricate some kind of mount.

The center orange pieces do just snap in and you could easily mount a strip inside of them. You don’t even need the neon strip I used since it would just be backlighting.

Is the plastic behind them not solid then, it's just like a upper and lower piece with the orange in the middle?
