I was very happy to report I ordered a 2023 Tremor, loaded on this forum about ten days ago. Only to be notified last weekend that the 73K dollar truck I waited a year to order was not going to be delivered the way I specked it due to, yes, the dreaded supply shortage. So, today, I made the painful decision to cancel the order, hold on to my Lariat and order a 2024 when the time is right. Maybe by that time Ford will have it under control. Maybe at that time you can go in and order the truck you want and actually get it in less than 14 months. Do I sound bitter? No, just frustrated. I waited for a V8 to be available in this truck, now I have to wait for a V8 with a heated wheel, mirrors and other things. Am I missing something here?

Welcome to the current world of suck and uncertainty

I wish I could avoid buying in this market, but I held onto my current truck too long. The only thing I'd be concerned about waiting a couple more years is the financing if you need that. Also, who knows how the economy is going to look.

I agree. This current market really sucks. I have never seen anything like it. I know I was lucky to get my Tremor when I did. It's really hard but I feel you should wait and get exactly what you want. I feel like when you compromise, you always end up not completely happy with your decision and have some regret. It blows my mind that you have people trying to buy 60k + trucks and they just can't deliver them and come through. I know this is the world we live in now. Hopefully it gets better soon.

I've been holding out too. I didn't want to put anymore money into my 2013 FX4. I drove it down the Cape Coral Florida after the storm to check my house. Made it there spent time with my daughter and fixed what I could. The day I was leaving I went to drive around some downed poles and tried to make a u-turn in a field. I found the only grass covered clasped concrete sewer in that field. Now my truck is still in Florida waiting for a tire to be delivered than a tow to Ft. Myers Ford for a rebuilt front end. Of coarse my spare doesn't match my other tires. The only bright side I can see here is that it wan;t a new Tremor.

This is my take on it, if you can find one at the dealer somewhere, used or new, get it, because if they keep stripping options from it you'll be basically getting a rattler instead of a Tremor. Now you say but I want a 23 or a 24, ok but 5 yrs from now my 21 will be worth more than your 23 because it will have the options that were removed from the 23. That's the sad truth you need to look at

I officially cancelled my order today as well.

Feature removals, increasing interest rates, uncertain job outlook for the near future... Definitely bummed to have to make the call but ultimately probably the best decision.

Just a reminder, political posts will be removed.

Our goal is to keep this site focused on the F150 Tremor, not moderate political debates.
I apologize for my banter. I tried to keep it as nice as possible though.
