Anybody know if the front torsen differential is good for snow ? I just see it advertised for sand etc. How long do they last ?

They are better in any low traction situation than having no type of locking or limited slip differential. So, it will be better in snow than an open differential.
They last a long time. They have been on the Raptors forever so if you want owner experiences you can check out Raptor forums, but they last a long time under normal circumstances.

Torsen differentials are the perfect solution for snow. The Torsen will give you 4WD instead of 3WD.
I see a lot of deep snow in the Adirondacks so that is the main reason I wanted the Torsen on my Tremor.
I also got the 4Auto Transfer Case so I don't have to switch in and out of 4WD when driving in and out of snow covered roads and parking lots.

Great info! thanks guys I had the option on it for my order and I wanted to make sure it's worthwhile for our snowy conditions here up in Canada. Who knows if it'll add any resale value to it? Most of our trucks up here in Canada get shipped down to the Usa after they are turned in at dealers.

I got my truck off a dealer lot without the Torsen and will be adding one. To me it's the perfect solution to get true 4wd with the rear locker engaged.

I just got an email from Torsen that the Raptor differential does in fact fit in the Tremor to anyone else that is looking to add one. Ford Performance part number M-4204-F150LS. applies to the Tremor as well
