Just got back from one of our summer beach trips. Have to say the Ecoboost/3.73 combo impresses me every time I tow. 220 miles each way, maxing out payload while also towing 7,000, in 100 degree heat. Temps always stay steady, never have to stop for gas even with 35"s, it just works. Got the windows tinted fairly dark using a medical exemption right before the trip too, amazing what a difference good ceramic makes.

How much of a level do you have on your truck? How bad is the squat when towing?

Been debating a level for months at this point so I ask this question every time I get, dont mind me lol.

I have the Halo shocks with the collars adjusted most of the way down (more info here) and I also have the RAS springs in the rear set at about 25%. Sits level with the trailer attached and around 900 pounds in the bed which is what I wanted. I've got about 3" of rake with just my 120# diamonback bedcover.

Just read your post. I think you made a good choice in doing only 1.5" in the front.
