Im finding mixed reviews on road noise on these tire so I thought I would ask here as most of you are running a bigger size. Hows the road/highway noise on your AT3? I had a couple sets of the old at and they hummed like crazy on the highway. These new AT3s have really good snow ratings so would like to get a set but not if they're noisy.

My brother has a set on his Silverado and he has no complaints. I've ridden with him and while they do have more noise than the Tremor's stock tire, I think most would agree the upgrade is worth a little noise. Could also be that the Tremor just has better soundproofing too.

I have them on mine. Road Noise is negligible compared to other 10 ply AT’s. Yes, you’ll hear more of a hum compared to the factory tire but that’s the price you pay for 10 ply. It’s really not very noticeable. I’m biased. I’ve been buying the Toyo AT’s since they were AT 2’s. I’ve had several different models of Toyo’s and several different brands and these are my favorites by a long shot. They aren’t as sexy as some of the others but they are a great all around performer and they wear very well.

thats why i was looking at the toyo supposed to have great winter ratings and I can actually get a 35x12.50 in a 8 ply and not kill my ride quality as much.

I am shocked you stuck with the Toyos after the AT 2's. Those are hands down the worst tire in wet/snow conditions I have ever driven. Got rid of some after 10k miles. I have heard that the AT 3's are way better, but I havent been able to spend money on Toyos again since there are other great options, like Falkens and Coopers.

I would have no problem buying them again. I ran Toyo CT’s, MT’s and then finally At3’s on my 2013 F-350. They are the quietest out of the bunch. I’ve ran BFG At’s in the past similar to the general grabber on the Tremor and I would say they are just as quiet. For now I’m sticking with the General. If I was to upgrade I would put this tire on. They ride great and they’re lighter then the Toyo MT.
Just my 2 cents

AT 3’s are so much better, but my problem with the 2’s are they chunk out off roading. Once they get chunked they cup and fall apart. If you think the AT2’s are slick, try the Toyo RT’s. Funny thing is the Toyo MT is my favorite AT tire of all time,

went and drove a newer super duty with the toyos. still have that high pitched hum going down the highway. think ill have to go with something else.
