Tracking Canadian Orders

Hi All,

Ordered April 12th in Hamilton Ontarion (Canada). Apparently all the tracking details available to US customers are not available in Canada? I've been told to check in somewhere in July for a VIN.

Assume this is normal for Canadians?

You'll have to get the VIN and order number from your dealer then you can track it off the Ford Canada tracker (when it's working) or through ordertrack.app

We don't get access to Ford Chat or notifications like our neighbors down south get.

Thanks! Figured as much. Bummed it's taking a few months to a get a VIN. Assuming I may get bumped to 2023 and have to re-evaluate.

Is the information they give you on the phone any more detailed than what you would see on the tracker? The American tracker website used to give me an estimated delivery date but since the Canadian tracker took over, Ive had to sit waiting impatiently and rely on the occasional updates from my dealer.

The tracker never worked when I was waiting for my truck. And I had a shitty dealer that I never got updates from so I would just call

The Ford tracker worked for me today once I received the customer order number and VIN from the dealer. Should be here in 2 weeks!!

No word from ford or VIN from dealer in my case. Very concerned I'm getting bumped to 2023 and my finance rate will go from 1-2% to 7-8% (they promised my financing rate was protected but I have serious doubts). Not buying this truck at 8% lol

Did you ever get the ford confirmation email? I asked my dealer and they said they haven't received anything from ford but when I talked with ford support, they said the order is already confirmed. so I am getting very suspicious of the dealer.

I got my vin 2 days after ordering in simcoe Ontario, track it daily online

Finally got my window sticker today! Never thought I’d be so excited for that blend date is 09/07/22 so hopefully by end of September I’ll have my truck!

Pretty sure there is no way they are going to honour the 1.99 financing rate I signed up to.

you can ask the dealer for your order number and the dealer code. then with those 2 numbers, you can go to ford site and talk to chat support. they will let you know what the current status is. Once they tell you its in production, just keep bugging you dealer to go check their email for the vin number. This is what I did. Apparently, the dealer doesn't put in your email when placing the order. They put in theirs so you won't ever receive any official updates from ford

Got a call and they said i'm bumped to 2023, but no detail on any price protection or financing rate protection. They said I can opt out anytime and get my deposit back

For the record, flipped from Black to Avalanche Grey - wife not thrilled ;-). I love contrast. Would have liked to see one in person first but no dice. Or even a pic but I don't think those are out there yet.

Received an update on mine today stating they now have the VIN and should see the truck after thanksgiving.
Ordered mid July 22 from a dealer in Hamilton ON.
If that holds true and my wait time is just over 3 months I’ll feel lucky. It feels too good to be true and I’ll believe it when I see my truck show up.

im from Hamilton as well i get my truck tomorrow. Finally after i ordered Jan 15, we should do a tremor meet up. Not many around.
