My 2022 Tremor has the 402A package and tow package. The trailer connector came with the round 7 pin and round 10 pin connector. Ever time I pulled my snowmobile trailer which has a flat 4 plug on it, I had to use the 7 pin to 4 pin adapter. I never used the 10 pin connector. So I decided to try changing the connector to a 7 pin/4 pin so I could plug the snowmobile trailer directly into the truck without needing the adapter.
I asked my dealer about it and was told that it can't be done. That didn't make sense since some trucks came from the factory with the 7 pin/4 pin connector.
So I bought a 7 pin/4 pin connector from Amazon and tried it on my own. It worked perfectly!!!
After you unplug the 10 pin connector there is a blank plug behind the bumper that you plug it into to hold it.
I hope this helps someone who is wondering if it will work.
