Transfer case vent line extension, is it needed, is it easy?

2025 402a, how hard is it to extend the transfer case vent line. Looking up there i see it for a few inches heading forward from the case towards the transmission housing.
So guessing it must be 6 inches above the bottom of the door height? I feel like i will break a clip or hurt something trying to get to the end of it to add an extension.
Anyone do this, how hard or worth it for water crossing events?

I tried really hard to follow that line. So hard to see where it goes. I think that it might T into the transmission vent line which I think goes up the middle of the engine bay behind the engine, maybe 18 inches higher than the transmission. I tried to find schematics to prove this, but I gave up.

Hoping someone on this forum knows more as I am interested in knowing this as well.
