Hey guys - I have a '21 Tremor built in late November, picked up about a month ago. 7xx miles on it.... three times now I've had an issue where when I put the truck into reverse, and it'll somewhat bind up - almost feels like when you're in 4WD and have an issue turning - where it'll go back in reverse but needs some effort. It almost feels more like the brake is on, but it isn't. When I put it into drive it lags behind going into gear, then essentially does a neutral drop with a loud CLUNK, then drops into gear.
My thought is that when I'm backing up and this has happened, it's been when there are other cars around parked at odd angles to where it isn't exactly like a parking lot, and I think the truck is inappropriately turning on the automatic breaking feature trying not to hit another car that it thinks is close by, but then not going into gear right away when I put it in Drive. Has anyone else experienced issues with this? I'm going to ask the dealer to flash the ECU with the newest updates, as I see there are some TSB's that talk about gear issues, but nothing specific to this, and wanted to see if anyone had seen/heard/experienced this for themselves.
Thanks in advance!
