F150s to be scheduled next week.

So I guess Ford 150 scheduling works like chip hold. They will build your truck in Jan and put it on chip hold until they build a whole bunch of new trucks before they remember your truck that has been sitting out in the sun for months. So if order in December or January and you get a Vin in April and then get bumped multiple times to the end of July, they will continue to schedule trucks ordered months after yours ahead of you. Ford is almost as screwed up as the Federal Government.

It seems like a big waste of time to keep sending more trucks to chip hold and then have to keep moving them around. According to the Long McArthur video, they expect to produce 68k trucks June-July. Are they really going to funnel them through chip hold?

Did you catch that they also said only 1-2% would be tremors?

I understood that as for June production, not necessarily the July production weeks being scheduled here.

Hopefully this helps move things along. Ford will need to spend more money on PDI.

Additional Cleaning of Held Vehicles - Effective Immediately

ACTION REQUESTED
• Identify vehicles upon delivery to the dealership that require more cleaning than is described and contained in the PDI process
• Clean these vehicles and claim the cleaning per the instructions below

SUMMARY
• Microchip shortages have caused some newly produced vehicles to be held longer than anticipated, including some storage in unpaved parking lots
• As a result, some new vehicles may require more cleaning than is contained in the PDI allowance
• A temporary process has been created to claim additional interior and exterior cleaning as needed

PHOTO REQUIREMENTS
Each claim requires the following photographs to be submitted with the claim:
• Exterior – vehicle front, rear and each side, prior to being cleaned
• Interior – each section that requires cleaning

DURATION OF THIS PROCESS
• The company’s intention is to minimize vehicle storage and ship vehicles to dealerships as soon as possible.
• This claiming process is active for the 2022 Calendar Year, however the company will periodically evaluate the status of vehicle storage to determine if this claiming process needs to continue.

I would like to know if this includes "Rusty Axles" ?

People have been complaining about rusty axles for years. I've owned 60 year cars and the rust doesn't really hurt anything other than looks. It's only surface rust. On something like the Tremor where I do want it to look good, I plan on dealing with that right away when it arrives.

I wonder how many people actually order the tremor though, 1.5% being tremor builds could be a high percentage of overall tremor orders, either way, hope one of em is mine! Been waiting 191 days for a VIN so far :)

Just as I'd given up hope, and started looking for regular f150s

Gives me promise. 1/29 ordered and confirmed.

They need to schedule pretty soon, or they will end up being 23's. The 23 order banks are due to open in a little over a month.
I am optimistic we are due sooner rather than later, seeing the number of Platinums and high-level Lariats being picked up lately.

However, they will be building '22s through early October, so scheduling and uncertainty will likely continue into the first weeks of September for the later orders.

Your order still amazes me. The Co-Pilot Active package is literally the only thing separating you from many later Granger orders that were picked up and built weeks ago.

It's disheartening for sure.
