Tremor specific key

Just picked up my wife’s 2022 Explorer ST and she gets a cool ST key. Same with Raptor and Shelby and RS. Why not the Tremor? I know that on the super duty’s it’s a package but with our F150 Tremor it is a standalone option which I think deserves it’s own key!

Is anyone able to make these? I would buy!

I agree, would've been nice. I got a cover for mine like I always fo anyways, to keep the key mint.

I’d say I could but 3D print would look like crap. At least from my printer it would. And I can’t do 2 colors.

I might have to try coming up with something though. Somehow I’ll squeeze it in between development of that other project I’m currently working on. Haha

Does anyone have one of these to take measurements? I can try and print something but will need dimensions for the front and back cover. If the proof of concept goes well, I can source a print shop to get those done in a carbon fiber filament or something that will hold up and look nice.

I was looking at my key lastnight. The back panel is actually pretty complex. It has a curvature, as well as a seal land for a gasket to seal against around the battery compartment.

Definitely not an easy part to recreate accurately.

Ford should have made these this way. Wifes Explorer ST just says ST on the keyfob,

I don't think the key can really be taken apart to replace the back without destroying it.

its certainly possible. but likely too expensive to develop for the likely relatively small market for it.

i've had the materials for a while now to attempt to make a domed sticker to put in this spot, just haven't gotten around to designing the sticker dimensions to fit correctly. i do have the TREMOR logo file already to use. just need to take measurements and design the sticker shape/size

I see that there is a "remove before flight" type of keychain on Etsy, but it is in the Super Duty red color. I have reached out to them to see if it could be made in the half ton gold/copper color as well...

Very close. I really like the font and outlining on the super duty version... just not the color
