Truck is stuck in park

Hello everyone I’ve got a 2022 F150 tremor 402a and it’s stuck in park in my garage. Why would it do this and what do I do to get it unstuck? Please help.

What was build date? Did you try unplugging the battery? Do you have any codes showing? Do you have any modifications? Maybe your interlock is preventing you from driving?

Not sure on build date but mid 2022. I did unplug the battery didn’t help. No codes, no mods.

This is a fairly common problem on Ford products. There's a manual release button somewhere to get it out of park. Not sure where on F-150. Should be somewhere near the console under a cover.

I found the lever. I was able to force it to shift but it wasn’t happy about it. It will be headed to the dealer Monday morning.

This happened to me with my ‘22. I shut the truck off. Opened the doors. Closed them and locked it from the outside. Unlocked it. Got back in and restart it. Then it worked like nothing happened.
