Had Linex sprayed yesterday and bought a Truxedo Sentry CT tonneau cover. I really like it. Doesn’t seem to be a very common cover though. Gets better reviews than the revolver due to Bak Industries no longer being allowed to use industrial glues per Kommiefornia’s wacky laws. So far I love it and it looks great.

On another note, I ordered every option on this 402a except the pro power and bed utility package. My dumbass thought the built in tailgate step was standard and I wanted to install my own lights and side plates so I deleted that option. It was the only disappointment with the delivery but it was my fault and I was over it in about 5 seconds. I’ll just keep doing box jumps so I can stay fit enough to monkey up there.

That cover does look great! I love how low profile it is...

BAK and Truxedo are both owned by Truck Hero. I like the Sentry over anything BAK has.

That’s the cover I’d like to get. Currently have the Bak Fibermax tri fold and it’s heavy as hell.
I like that the Sentry CT is able to be removed quickly as well.
Good to hear you like it.

Can you confirm if you can open and close the tailgate with the tonneau cover in the closed position?

I do have the power tailgate, and I am looking for a cover that I can have closed and still use the power close feature on the tailgate, without having to pop open the cover.

This is on a 17, but he closes the tailgate with the cover latched. I'm buying one of these for mine, so hope no issues.

You can close it with it down but it may not be as waterproof as the seal will be pushed in towards the bed. It won’t break anything though.

I just ordered a Sentry for mine and a BedRug. Bought it at Autoanything. They sent me a $50 coupon, so I also ordered a set of Putco Tech Rails.

BTW, got my truck today.

Thanks for the link, that is a spendy cover. I know being cheap with a 75k truck is silly, but I think I'll keep looking.

Congrats on the delivery!!!

There are lots of choices out there from about $300 up. I always bought an Extang Classic Platinum for all of my trucks from a 93 Lightning up through an 18 Raptor. It was an under $300 snap down type cover. The one on my Lightning was there for 10 years and still in good condition when I traded the truck. Extang has since discontinued all of their snap covers. I bought the Sentry which is about $100 less than the Sentry CT. That's the one big item for me.

I had the Truxedo Lo Pro on my 2013 and loved it. I sold it with the truck, I love how tight it sealed, but with my new truck I kind of want to be able to remotely open the tail gate and close it, with the cover down.
