Fifty-five hp more and a Ford Performance 3 year 36,000 warranty; I’m in. I’ve filled up with 93 octane gas since the initial tankful so, that won’t be a change for me.

I’m more excited about that extra 100 torque at 2500 rpm.

Same always premium in mine anyway. If this does not affect the PremiumCare... I'm ALL IN on this and can't wait!!!

Meh. Other tunes provide significantly more power.

I'm wondering how much difference an extra 55hp will do. Hopefully it will be worth it.

Can't wait for the reviews.

Yeah super super curious if this invalidates the PremiumCare.
I wonder if said FPP upgrade has to be done before the 3/36 expires in order for it to fall under the Premium Care ESP.

It’s doubtful that the majority of people won’t even notice.

True but not with or covered by the factory warranty.
Save the aftermarket tunes for when a vehicle is past the factory warranty or if the owner doesn’t care about said warranty.

If you have a good tuner you are not going to have to worry about it. These motors have history of being tuned without issue as does most FI platforms out there. The fear of something breaking due to a tune is over hyped in my opinion. I personally will seek a custom tune once CVF releases their downpipes. Custom tunes will almost always surpass an off the shelf tune, no two motors are the same.

I think @CAMDENN point is, for those of us who want preserve warranty, we are not looking to squeeze every last HP out of our engines. Heck mine already does everything I need exceptionally well. But if I can get an extra 100 lb ft @2500 to get my 7000 pound trailer moving that much faster, I'm all in.

My Yamaha 250 outboard has an available tune that would bump it up to 332 HP. But it may void my 5 year warranty and would certainly increase my odds of being stranded 30+ miles offshore.

I'm all about a mild tune that an automaker is willing to put in writing to meet their OEM 'durability standards'. Warranty details aside, they know the PR impact of denying a claim attributed to a Ford-sponsored tune.

If out of warranty, I'd certainly lean more towards aftermarket.
