I have a water leak that seems to be running down the wiring connecting to the rear view mirror. My only assumption is that the front windshield isn’t sealed correctly?

It’s rained a bunch and I’m just now noticing the leak. Any help?

I swore I had the same thing happening to my truck as well, been watching it closely but hasn’t done it again. Mine was in winter though when the snow was melting off the roof,we just had some good rain and still seems fine.

Odd. I've not seen any instance of that with the wet weather here in Seattle. May be worth a visit to a dealer for inspection.

That’s what is confusing me. It’s obviously rained a good bit since I’ve bought it in August, I’ve even made 4 hour trips in the rain with no issue

I honestly thought at first that I just did a horrible job cleaning the inside of the window, but then I had run lines from the top of the windshield a week later. I even tested it at the car wash by spraying directly at the top seal for awhile, but had no leaks again. So not sure what to say but I feel your confusion on the situation.

I recently received a notice on my Ford Pass App that there is a "customer satisfaction campaign" for a Windshield Water Leak. In your app, go to Service/Customer Satisfaction and see if you have a notice.

From reading it, Ford will inspect and replace the windshield as needed to address any issues for free. It also sounds like it's Vin specific, but doesn't show a range. I haven't noticed an issue on mine and haven't had a chance to take it in either.

Just checked my app and I don't see any alerts or notifications

Customer Satisfaction Campaign?
Very weird name for a potential / specific vehicle recall issue.

I agree. I forgot to mention that I also received a letter in the mail with a bit more explanation.

Was this issue ever corrected? I just recently purchased a 23 tremor and noticed this same issue on a foggy, humid night.
