Posting to see others experiences with Waxoyl or other brands of undercoating protection. I live in MA and winter is upon us. Just looking for reviews and if it’s worth it. Thanks.

living in MN I am very familiar with undercoatings, my preference is a lanolin type product (fluid film, woolwax, surface sheild etc) and applying with spray gun from bulk material. Takes about an hour each Oct to apply and no rust in all the years I did it to 2014 f150 and now Tremor. Lanolin products are self healing and creep into all the tight spaces. I only do washes without undercarriage spray until spring. Good luck!

Gooey, messy, dust collecting lanolin products are the way to go. Been using fluidfilm on my boat trim and wet section for years. No corrosion at all in tropical salt air and water environment. Though it is not good for the bilge because it migrates into the bilge pump sensors and defeats them. You can wash it off. Easy to apply and any "true" hardcoating cannot stop the salt from getting underneath at the edges, and cannot get everything no matter what. Extension 360 tube/nozzles available to spray inside frame sections and every where you cannot reach or directly spray. Getting ready to coat my 2022 underbody since our streets have been flooding with king tide salt water lately. I buy it by the case of spray cans but think I might buy the compressor nozzle and start buying bulk buckets instead. Just wish I had access to a lift.
