Looking to grab first travel trailer in the next month or so, any advice on variations, brands of WDH?

Thanks!

There's the ProPride 3P and everyone else. Towing with a half ton I would not skimp on the hitch.

Tons of options. Just make sure the weight limits on the hitch match the trucks and trailer!

Equalizer 4 point sway hitch works great, really impressed with it. 2” level on the front of the truck and with full trailer sits level and tows smooth.

Been using a Kurt Load Leveling Hitch on my '19 Raptor to tow a 26' Travel Trailer. With is adjusted correctly I'm sitting at the same fender hieghts as with no load. No problems with sway and no issues towing. Trailer is about 6500lbs.

Will be towing the same trailer with my Tremor in the future.

Depends on how big the trailer and frame are. For smaller trailers, the Andersen is a great option. For bigger rigs, the steel spring bars hitches are good.

ProPride P3 user for about 9 years now on two campers. I have towed with and without it, I wouldn't tow without one again. It eliminates sway.

ProPride is definitely "get what you pay for". Nice to see someone investing in safety. Very nice setup you have. Is your user name in reference to your RX-7?

I was thankful to find your post. Getting ready to rent a trailer and head out, but haven't had anything on the hitch. I also have a 2" level. My anxiety was getting the better of me until I saw this.

Holy ..... $3K??? That is definitely the Rolls Royce of WDH.

Which one did you decide to go with? I'm researching them right now to purchase soon.

Do you still get sucked in when semis are passing you?

I have a fastway e2 that I've had for a few years and used for 10k miles of towing, but stupidly didn't grease per the instructions and I caused some damage to the point that it doesn't really help with weight distribution any more. The holes where the trunnion sits are oblong now and I think the the actual trunnions are worn down too. So lesson learned - FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS.

As a replacement I really want to try the 4p version of this https://www.curtmfg.com/trutrack/trailer-mounted.

But I can't find any reviews and I'd rather not be the ginuea pig

I'm an Equalizer fan. I've used it on 2 different trailers and it works well. Easy hookup. Also like that it's made in the USA. There are cheaper knock offs made in China with same design.
