Weird Morning

Interesting thing happened this morning. It was a little chilly so I tried to remote start my truck, it wouldn't start with my key fob or with the app. I walked outside and as the truck unlocked I heard the parking break engage. When I got into the truck the parking brake was on and my gauges were reset and My View was also rest. Anyone else experience anything like this? 22 402A

That was my first thought, but I have updates set to Friday, and I belive i turned off auto updates.

Ford can still push through updates I believe. The schedule for receiving updates is just for updates that will require your vehicle to be immobile while they are performed.

My View resets for me about once a week and the gauges reset about once a month. It was annoying at first but now just another day in the life

Sometimes when you turn the truck off it will pop up a message that says restart now or you will have to use the key, if you go ahead and restart it then it works but if you miss the message and don't then you will have to manually restart, I think it's related to how it shuts down, mine has done this 2 times, it did it last night but I restarted and this morning everything worked fine.

I have not looked into it but my Blue Cruise no longer engages.. I wonder if I also go an update. In areas that have always been Blue-cruise enabled, it no longer allows hands free.

My truck got an update last night or this morning. Didn’t drive it, just needed something out of the back and used the app to unlock it. Top of the screen said update was successfu.

Is there any way to check for updates? My app didn't say anything about an update when I tried and failed to remote start it.

Yes, in the settings menu in the truck there is an update settings page. It will show you the last update if it had one. I looked at mine tonight and it was a BlueCruise update. Strangely enough my iPhone updated at the same time, now my Car Play wont work. New iPhone is supposed to be here tomorrow so I didn't mess with it much.

Yes something similar like this happened to me this morning.
