F150Tremor.com is all about the 2021 Ford F150 Tremor edition. Our goal is to be the #1 resource for F150 Tremor Owners and enthusiasts.

To keep the place friendly, we ask that every new member post up an introduction thread letting us know a little bit about themselves.

Please help us keep this site friendly and informative! Thanks in advance.

Hi all. Current Rebel guy looking at how green the grass is over here.

Already part of the group on Facebook. Nice to find a F150 Tremor forum

Greetings from Northeast PA. I’ve been a car guy all my life and this will be my first truck ever. In fact, I recently sold my 2019 Shelby to order a truck. I just need one at this point in my life and figured the Tremor is about as cool as you can get for my needs. Raptor just too bulky. I’m about as nube as you can get with trucks, so this forum will be a big help. My dealer didn’t even know about the Tremor trim level for the F-150 2 weeks ago and I placed my order on 7/10. Hopeful to find out here if anyone discovers delivery time frames. Cheers

Current 2018 Raptor owner. I feel the Tremor will be a better option for me given that I live in a mountainous area where the strengths of the Raptor can't shine, and in some ways limit my off-road abilities. The Tremor is the perfect blend of off-road capability and utility that I really need.

Welcome to the forum @Bigtwin 🍻 Congrats on the order!

Welcome @RotorHead695 - The extra payload + towing capacity will be nice, not to mention all the new interior features!

Even the narrower axles will help. Really looking forward to a current adaptive cruise control too. The camera only 2018 system is a bit clunky and erratic.

Long time raised Ford guy. Currently 2011 F150 XLT RWD EB (bought new and love) and 1969 Mach 1 (family owned for 50 years) less my wife's 2021 Jeep High Altitude. On order 2021 Tremor Fully Loaded (minus Active 2.0) Leadfoot stated to deliver in Nov/Dec. Moving away from towing a tent camper to boondock spots then driving basic Forest Service roads to a beginner Overlander looking for weekend trips with the family of 4. Can't bring myself to a Ram or Toyota so taking Fords best attempt to date at Off Road and Utility capability meshing together. Plan on starting stock with added overland truck rack, bed slides and on rack tent. Almost bought a F250 Tremor until my wife stated, "I can not drive this in town." Super fired up to be more off road oriented, learning the skills to take care of but use the vehicle and extend the reach of going deeper into the great outdoors. Thank you for starting this forum. Once wheels start hitting delivery I'm sure it will take off.

Welcome to the sickness.

Welcome to the sickness.
It really is. I need to pause my constant thoughts and research at times to remind myself that I want to do this for the family who is right in front of me!!

Family — perfect for helping to clean the truck. ;-)

I'm very interested in the new F150 Tremor. I've been anxiously waiting to see them in real life since the introduction in December 2020.
I don't want to order one until I see one in real life. I'll be comparing the Tremor to the Ram Rebel when it's time to order.
Based on the current chip shortages and delivery issues, I've decided to wait on ordering it until January or February with a possible early spring 2022 delivery but I want to make my final decision soon.

I currently have a 2016 F150 XLT Sport/FX4 with the 2.7 L Ecoboost. I've been very happy with this truck except for one thing. My truck has the chronic "Freezing Door Lock" issue (design issue on 2015+ F150's). I've had it to the dealer many times without a permanent solution. I hope Ford has solved this issue with the 2021+ trucks.

I also have a 1969 Mach 1 Mustang that I've owned for over 30 years.
@deucedevil I see that you also have one. Mine is an "M" code automatic.

Welcome Coachdad! We are all learning about he truck and sharing experiences, glad to have you join us.

Welcome Coachdad. The tremor has more available payload and technology over the Rebel. Otherwise, I would put the Rebel as a slight favorite over the Tremor in terms of off road capability. Ford does a good job of making up for their mechanical deficiencies with tech and if you replace the tremor suspension, it should be better than the Rebel
