Just like the title says. Went in for my first service on my new truck and was greeted with a recall for a new motor.

I’ll be honest I’m not super excited to have my brand new truck torn apart.

They are building Tremors in Kansas City now? I thought they were all out of Dearborn.

I asked my service guy to look into the assembly plant thing. My truck definitely is from Dearborn.

I had to look at mine- build Oct 2022 in Dearborn. Phew!

Uh oh. My blend date is 2023-07-26
At least it is a small number of affected vehicles, but that doesnt help those that qualify

That recall wasn't just for the Tremor, they are only built in Dearborn like you thought unless recent changes have occurred due to the union.

Right. But if OP has a Tremor and that lists only powerboosts out of Dearborn so it’s a little confusing

Wow.
Glad to see Ford stepping up and doing the right thing.
I know they’re pricey but these days and with all makes and models, it just makes sense to get a manufacturer backed ESP.

Based on your sheet I'm not convinced your truck needs the motor. As said, we are under the impression ALL Tremors are assembled in Dearborn. Did they validate your VIN for the recall?

Wow I can't believe that. Sorry to hear about your truck. I too have been experiencing some headaches with my new f150 purchase. Vibration in the gas pedal lead to new transmission... funny enough, that didn't fix it.
Now i just noticed my build date (thanks to this post)
Is July 22 2023:eek:
How can I tell where it was assembled?
