I just purchased a travel trailer with a GVWR of 8500lbs. I’m a little concerned that I’m at about 77% of the Tremor’s max tow spec. Plus since I live in Arizona, I’m concerned about overheating.

What’s the heaviest load you all have towed and how did your Tremor do?

I took your mom out for a nice seafood dinner. Def exceeded payload.

Just kidding, I don't have my truck yet.

This is the biggest load I have pulled. It was about 6700lbs loaded with a WDH and the truck was about 300lbs under GVWR. I took it form Vegas up to the Mts of Utah, gas mileage was crap but minus the wind gusts the truck didn't break a sweat. This trailer is 29ft and I would not go any longer with a 1/2 ton. The truck has plenty of power and braking ability but on a windy day you do get pushed around on the freeway. I would not worry about overheating at all, I live in Vegas and even in the 110 deg heat it never gets hot even with a load.

We're about to see how mine handles a 33 ft trailer next month.

I pulled around 8500lbs for 28 miles, it did fine just really squatted.

Ive been holding off playing with struts to avoid having worse squat when towing. Were the airbags hard to install? Do they affect anything when not in use?
Had a shop install them. I leave them at about 5 psi when not towing and put them at about 38 psi with the boat hooked up. I heard you loose a little articulation in the rear with them. Folks have said that if you out the daystar cradles on then it fixes this but when the shop put the bags on that the cradles would mount with the Tremor suspension. I haven't looked in to why they would have said that. But I don't really plan on doing anything that I would need full articulation for anyway.

just purchased a 24' Jayco myself, just beaware of the fine print on tow packages
ford says 10900 but thats only with max tow, standard tow package is 7000, and tongue weight is 500 or 1150 with WD hitch if i recall

well under weight limits with my standard tow 7000lb package but tongue weight was over so went with WD hitch
Dry Hitch Weight (lbs)620
Unloaded Vehicle Weight (lbs)5,465
Cargo Carrying Capacity (lbs)1,285
Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (lbs)6,750

Funny this topic popped back up, one day next week I'll be pushing 10k towing, only about 10 miles though.

No all tremors are rated at 10,900 they come with a gvwr of 7k lbs but all tremors can tow 10,900 per ford website....it shows where other vehicles have to have have (* beside to indacte max tow package) but it's not shown so by ford's website tremors can tow 10,900

6800 lbs, Air Lifter bags, no squat. Have pulled several 100 miles.
Which SH model is that? I'm considering a Grady White 257, would be about 7000 on the trailer. Wondering if that's more than I want to tow a couple times a year to the beach, 3.5 hours. Feel good towing that weight?

Formula 260SS on tandem Venture aluminum trailer with electric brakes. Boat is 6470-lb dry weight, with 92-gallon tank. Drove 600-mile trip in northern Michigan last week in generally flat terrain.
Wouldn’t say it’s “seamless “, but handled it well. I have pulled this boat for 14-years with two other vehicles, I’d still vote in favor of an F-250 for this…..but life happens! ☹️
