What are these things?

It's not often that I find a part on one of my vehicles that I truly have no idea what it does. But I've got two parts on this Tremor that stick out to me that I don't understand what they're there for. I'll take a wild guess on one of them as it looks like it has something to do with the scale system that as far as I know we don't have access to on our tremors. But the second one hooked to the exhaust, I got nothing sound dampener vibration maybe? Any theories anyone's got or if someone actually knows feel free to clear this up for me.

I believe the first is for auto-leveling headlights.

Second is an exhaust damper for NVH purposes.
