Having only on the truck one week but already putting 800 miles on it my first pet peeve is that the rear windows are not auto up or auto down. I will look at modifying the switches. My second peeve is the fact that you have to reset your driving mode if you turn off the engine. I know I probably shouldn’t but I seem to be using sport the most

1. First and foremost, that i needed to spend $250 (X2 because my girlfriend threw the first set away by accident ) and take apart my dash to get lights it should've already come with.

2. That i paid extra for the B&O unleashed and it's straight lame, i should've saved the money and just gone straight aftermarket because I'm going to do that anyways.

3. Agreed on both the driving mode and the auto up and auto down windows, my GTI cost half and it had all of this, plus a better sound system. Seems like they knocked it out with some features, and then also left out some of the most basic shit.

4. That they shit all over the Tremor by making the BAP have everything the Tremor has and then allowing you to put it on basically a base model F150.

5. That the air recirculation turns off by itself, but apparently this is a Ford thing.

6. The chrome on the F150 badge and on the interior - i wish it was all blacked out like the BAP. Hate chrome, doesn't belong anywhere on an off-road truck, should've at least given the option to delete it, I'd have paid extra.

7. A little surprised at how shit the gas mileage is tbh, nowhere near what was advertised, for me at least. City driving and traffic, barely getting 16mpg. As I remember, it was advertised 18-21 mpg or something like that. I'd have to be going 70-75, in eco mode, no traffic to get 18-19.

All that being said, i still think it's the best truck out right now, and I'd buy it again (though now I'd be really tempted to just get a BAP platinum fully loaded), but you did ask about pet peeves 😅

Hey, Ive found that the re-circulating can be kept ON if you dont use the auto air function.
At least it was this way in my 2013 Fusion.
It took me 10 years to figure out why it kept turning off, but when I ran it in manual mode I noticed it would stop turning off.

Give that a try and let me know if it works the same in the F150.

Kind of agree about the B&O. It sounds "OK", but the bass isnt what I had hoped. I think Im gonna run some after market bass at least.

Is air supposed to blow through the vented seats? Mine gets cool but there is very little air flow. My buddies Expedition blows a good volume of air…

I wsj A/C plugs would work without engine running at least for low voltage …

I agree on both of those points. My ram had an actual airflow you could feel. And charging should not be such a taxing battery issue that it can’t be done with the motor off

I love your post

The B&O unleashed is disappointing for sure. My wife has a regular B&O system in her car that sounds considerably better. I can't stand lane assist and how it vibrates the steering wheel so that got shut off. Also the chime that says "check rear seats" for children when you shut the truck off is super annoying.

Mine has excellent airflow thru the seats, you can feel it and hear it, depending on the level you have it set at.

Most of what everyone has said but I got a new one: My 401a has no vanity lights for its visor mirror. It's 2022 and my fucking SIXTY THOUSAND DOLLAR TRUCK DOESN'T HAVE FUCKING VISOR LIGHTS.
LMAO that sounds more like your wife complaining, that's what my wife said about my 2017 I had, retrofit can be done but it's a major pain.

Mine may not be connected or something. I can hear air blowing somewhere but not feel it.

100% my wife said the same thing lol.

I’ll give you guys the no chrome and the BAP bullshit but I’ll add the lack of consistency on the accent colour I know absolutely fuck all about powder coat colours and was able to pick a better colour match after 20 min on prismatic website. Also the part where you can’t have and accessory function just get run or engine running. Also I know it’s more than just tremors but why they gotta say 400w outlet but it can’t power my Milwaukee battery charger rated at 180 w

It's so true it hurts.

Basically "anything my wife doesn't like about it" is my biggest pet peeve. That and the BAP.
I get it when I went to get this truck I took it on a test drive to her work and showed it to her before I would agree to anything , the first thing she did was flip the visor down and saw it was lighted, then she commented on how well it rode, she then gave me the ok.

You can turn both of those off. One is the lane assist sensitivity, the other is rear seat occupant check.

You can shut off the check rear seats too...
