What fuel are you using?

My wife has a eco tech 4cyl. It runs like shit on E85. Try to get non ethanol and it runs great. Better MPH and performance. I have run 4 tanks of non E85 in my truck since I got it and it runs great. Any issues with E85?

I only run 93 octane, sometimes non ethanol sometimes the 10% , never tried to run E85, I do I'm now it will take time for the computer to switch over to run that right, although I never knew the 3.5 could run E-85, I thought it was limited to the non turbo models, 5.0 as an example.

I've only put Chevron 91 octane so far (2 tanks). I believe that can contain up to 10% ethanol. My last couple EB's I just ran 87 but I'm trying to treat this truck a little better.

Using premium which is 93 octane here with 10% ethanol. I was going to run non-ethanol which is 90 octane here but the price of gas jumped the week before I got my truck. Got a few more miles out of premium than the regular the dealer put in but it could just be my imagination. I thought I read somewhere these can take upto 15% ethanol blends?

Don’t have my truck yet so I can’t go look. But I’d be surprised if the EB engine was designed to run E85. It should say though on the capless fuel filler, shouldn’t it, whether it can or cannot take E85?
