Wheel arch moldings as opposed to fender flares. Has anyone done this?

My 2014 FX4 came with what I thought was OEM wheel arch moldings. I've grown accustomed to the look and also feel like they add a bit of protection. Has anyone put these style moldings on their tremor yet? Not looking for fender flares, rather something subtle like these.

I'm in the same boat. Just the look of the molded plastic, a little extra protection, and nothing super wide.

Those bushwackers are close to what I'm envisioning but would rather they cover/go into that body line (which is likely impossible)

I bought those off Ford Accessories while waiting for the correct ones to come in . The temporary ones were pretty bad.

I like that with the spacers, it does fill the gap there. Great looking truck!
