Where is my tremor?!

In mid October of 2021 I placed an order for a 2022 f150 tremor 402A package, along with the spray in liner and auto start/stop. I was/am prepared to wait a while but its already mid December and Ford still hasent picked up my order. Iv given a call to my dealer a few times and he just confirms the order has been placed but no Vin yet. It's been 3 months and ford hasn't even acknowledged my order. Any thoughts or similar wait times? Should I give a call to ford directly? Any input is appreciated.

I have no idea how they do these... I ordered mine 11/26 (402A also) and got an email yesterday saying it was built- set for delivery 1/5-1/11. I even ordered from a low volume dealership, even the dealer told me it will take more time than a large volume dealer. The only thing I can think of is that I am in Ford's system, as my current truck was financed through them. Sorry for your situation, it sucks. But I have no idea how the algorithm's work.

This is one of the stranger threads on this forum. These 2 builds are perfect examples. I ordered my 402A Dec 1 (3 biz days after you Mama Tried) and all I have so far is the initial email acknowledging the order that came out on 12/1. I would love delivery in January at this point but that seems doubtful. How do they choose?

I dont know if being a customer actually matters, I have two vehicles through Ford and no communication outside of order received. Ordered same day as you, 11/26, except 401a with a handful of options (hadn't added the 52x)..

My guess is as good as any, as to how they pick. Definitely not FIFO and it doesn't seem it's entirely around option additions either.

Seems like some folks are just lucky

I’ve said it on other threads so at this point it just sounds like I’m whining but I’ll say it again. I ordered mid August and I still do not have the truck. As far as I can tell, it’s basically impossible to figure out how they decide what gets built and when. The one thing I do know is having the factory bed liner installed was probably a mistake. I know it’s definitely been part of the reason for my delay because it is done off site. I would encourage everyone to avoid the factory spray in liner because the trucker shortages are really slowing down that process.

I feel your pain. I ordered a 2021 402A with the spray in/stop-start in June of 2021. It turned into a 2022 in November.
I do have a VIN and this is my build week, but my dealer isn't expecting delivery till late January early Feb.
I have some friends that are in the Bronco queue, and we haven't been able to make out any rhyme or reason to when peoples orders are picked. Big dealer, small dealer priority code or whatever.
I'm sure Ford has some grand plan but its not clear to me at all.
I know this isn't much help, but I can say that it seems like they are starting to get more builds moving now.
Still, I suggest settling in and just enjoy shopping for mods while you wait.
Let us know how it progresses.

Thanks for all the input. UPDATE: Just called ford directly and they were able to see that my tremor is currently in production with a estimated time of arrival of 1/12/21. I'm still wondering why I got no email updates and my dealer said they checked and showed up with "no vin yet". I forwarded my email again to make sure they have the correct one on file.
