So i just refreshed my window sticker (2/15/2022 on the bottom) and my total MSRP dropped by $880. Looking into it, it was the Trailer Tow Package that was lowered. Should i be happy or concerned?

I *think* it's because there's a Trailer Tow Package ($1000 roughly), and a Tow Technology Package ($800 roughly). The Trailer Tow Package includes all the stuff from the Tow Technology Package so it's only a $200 increase if you already had the tech one added.

At least that was my understanding when trying to price out the differences between the two.

But for it to change right before it is being delivered? I mean the window sticker from yesterday still had the old number!

It sounds like they were charging you for both the Tow Package and Tech Package, but since the Tow Package includes the Tech they removed that and thus the $800 drop. That's my guess.

I asked about this a few days ago and the guy at my dealer who places the orders said it is the trailer tow package but could not figure out the price change. He said it was moat likely due to the price change in the trucks and the one I have on order already has tow tech included on the 402a package. Build and price shows the adjusted $210 price for the tow package when 402a is selected.

Nice!

Just checked mine, It still shows $1090.00. I think it is built and sitting in a lot though.

Here’s my take after a bit of research.
Ford adjusted the price of the tow package from $1090 to $210.
The only thing it adds is a wiring harness and 7 pin connector. You see this when comparing the packages on Ford.com.

So early on , it was $1090 but there was no explanation of what it included. It was either supposed to have additional things (sway bar, additional cooling, etc) that never happened or the price was just carried over and didn’t get adjusted early on.
Once the website was updated , Ford adjusted the price for what it actually included.

I’ve got a call in to inquire about a refund as I was charged the higher price but haven’t received a call back yet . The dealer was unaware of anything about it. Ford customer service handed me off to marketing and that’s who I’m waiting to hear back from.

Radiator is slightly bigger and has more fins per inch for greater heat transfer.

Did you order a 402a or ? There's been a lot of confusion about the tow packages, what is different, what you get, are the tow ratings different, etc. Most could not get confident about what was different hardware-wise between the tow tech and the trailer tow.

On my 401a, when I ordered (12/1/21), I can tell you that the 360 degree camera package was NOT a part of the Trailer Tow package ($1090) but was a part of the Tow Tech package ($880). I opted for the tow tech package because I really wanted the 360 degree cameras. I was told if I wanted the trailer tow package AND the 360 degree cameras, I would have to add the cameras to the Trailer Tow turning it into about a $1800 deal. No one could tell me what 'more' I was getting by going that route.
Anyways...I think this is Ford finally correcting the issue and tells me that maybe the Trailer Tow package just adds the tailgate LED and some additional wiring maybe. The 7-pin connector is standard I believe across all trim levels (seems I saw some documentation about that).

I spent so much time trying to figure that out even after placing my order. I bit the bullet and went with the package for cheap insurance on being able to tow the addional 3k pounds. What I don't understand is why the online B&P tool does not reflect the $210 price when a Tremor is built with a low or mid package. It will allow you to select both the tow and tow tech but both are still at full price. When I ordered it was full price and when my window sticker populated on 2/1 is when I saw it at the lower price and thought it was ordered incorrectly and that's when I spoke to my dealer who confirmed it was the correct package. Hopefully ford works it out and gets some refunds out to yall.

I am 402a. I just hope i am not loosing something in the discount.

Just checked my sticker and trailer two shows the $210 but my overall price went up like $600.
Edit- the increase came from the $1,500 increase in base price, duh.

My sticker just updated today to $210.00 but I will pay $620.00 more for the truck. Super Lame FORD!

Just curious was this invoiced before the price increase? Mine has not changed other than the date on the bottom and invoice date on the sticker shows 2/1/22

My understanding is that the sales price I agreed to with Granger is unchanged (barring me making modifications to the order) regardless of MSRP changes. Do you believe you are in a different situation where your sales price is increasing?

Not sure where the invoice date is. The date on the bottom of my sticker has been 2/13/22 until today. Now its 2/20/22 and shows the changes.

Not sure about that, my dealer still hasn't got back with any info on the truck. The original sticker is attached to my deal number so I am probably good. But the sticker shows the $1500 base increase and the deduction for the tow package. My truck has been "In Production" since 1/27/22.

If your truck had been in IP since 1/27 it should have been invoiced. Invoice date can be found in the box that states special order, the last set of numbers. As MDPE mentioned, if you agreed to a price then you should be locked in with your dealer for the final price.

Original window sticker shows 1/20/22. New window sticker shows 02/17/22. Not sure what is up. But yes I made a deal with a trade in number, no mark up and put a deposit down. $620.00 is not a deal breaker, but it would have been nice to get the $880.00 back without the $1500.00 price increase.
