F150 Tremor iconic silver

If someone made one for the F150 in a 3-4" height, you could run any shocks you desire, and never have to worry about if your angles weren't right and might cause premature wear, on top of that you wouldn't have to worry about having to change gears out due to running bigger tires.

I'll keep dreaming and dream that someone does this in a much more cost effective manner.

Is there anything stopping this as a possibility with f150s? I don't know a damn thing about them other than what they are honestly.

Somebody taking the time to develop one with the capability of handling the torque and getting the fit right.

I looked into putting portals on my Expedition since no one makes a big lift for it. I can't remember the brand, but it was possible and it was going to run about $20K for 4 portals and 4 custom spindle adapters. Besides the high price they said you could not tow with them installed and didn't recommend high speed freeway style travel. I could do a 4 link straight axle coil over conversion for about half that.

I get they are expensive hence the comment about at a lower cost, but if they are designed properly highway driving and towing are both possible. They make them currently for the newer jeeps in the us here and they are capable of towing and highway speeds, this is a common lift used in the side by side world and you don't loose your towing capacity or your speed on them either. Just saying it can be done and would only benefit IFS capability if they did it properly. It's a dream I realize but eventually it will be done.

If solar panels and batteries were designed properly we wouldn't need anything but the sun. :ROFLMAO:

Fozzy about 20yrs ago you weren't supposed to tow with the types of lift you have either, that's changed and/or was found out to be wrong. I know on my UTV it will not lose any towing or hauling capacity.

I have been lifting for over twenty years and have never seen a restriction on any lifts I have done. Back in the day it would come down to the 44" Swampers mounted on the crappy 16.5 wheels not being load rated and the homemade 4' drop hitch. I am very aware of UTV portal axles, I have had a set of GDP's. You must have work style if you have towing and hauling numbers , they don't amount to much. The H1 and G Wagon squared can only tow less the 8K. Not enough for a truck owner. Yes, the Unimog Ag can tow a crazy 24 ton or something like that, but they don't do over 60mph. So when the guy that makes the portals tells me not to use them for this use case, I took his word for it. I have seen the 74Welds in action and all their vehicles were trailered to Moab and KOH. But they will make you anything your pocket book can afford. $16K Bronco portals seem like a steal, can't wait to see them out and about. I would have loved them on my Expy with some 37's. Would have been a killer set up.

It sounds like my wife needs portals that can do 80 mph on those 37s that are in her stocking
