Finally making some progress on my build, I took my family on a 9 day 3100 mile road trip from Colorado to Portland to have the Super Pacific X1 camper installed. After the install we headed up through Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming before heading back home. It was a fun road trip and the truck did well. I'm hoping to have a lot more of the work completed later this month including a 270 awning, ARB dual compressor, lithium battery to control all the accessories, solar panel, fridge, interior and exterior lighting, and new wheels and tires.

Nice set up, how is the wind noise with the overhang to the front?

Looks great. Looking forward to seeing the full build! Keep track of the budget for curiosity on a true overland build cost.

The wind noise was noticeable at first but with the radio on at normal levels we got used to it and It really didn't bother me. More noticeable was the 2 mpg hit with the camper on.

Looks great! I hope you consider giving us a superpacific review/rundown.

I'll definitely post my thoughts once I get a better feel for it and spend a few more nights in it.

After a few delays due to parts and me not being able to make up my mind on a few things, I made a lot of progress on the build in the last couple of weeks. I had Juniper Overland in Denver do the majority of the work for my build and I am extremely happy with everything they did. I managed to get out with the family Memorial Day weekend and so far I'm very happy with how the truck turned out. The Super Pacific X1 is very well built and held up better than I expected with some high winds over the weekend. Here's a list of what's been done.

Yokohama Geolander M/T 305/70R18 on Method 701's with a +18 offset. For those wondering the 305 is tight but it does fit in the factory location. Auto Spring 2.5 leveling kit. ReadyLift ReadyAir load leveling kit. National Luna 50L dual control fridge mounted on a Alu-Cab tilting fridge slide. RedArc Red Vision TVMS with Manager 30, Lion Energy 105Ah lithium battery, Overland Solar 130 watt panel, ARB twin compressor, Eezi-Awn Bat 270 awning, National Luna lights on all the hatch doors.

Looks great! I got the go-ahead to pull the trigger on a camper top with the Alu-Cabin, X1 and GFC being in the running.
Very nice, those were the exact three on my list. The Super Pacific just checked all the boxes I cared about most

Nice rig @Wrench77 !!! What do you typically do for water on longer trips? Jerry cans or similar? Any plans for hot water and/or a hot shower system?

Thanks, I bring two 5 gallon jerry cans. I have a Rinse kit pro that can be filled with hot water and used for showers but I’ve never used it for that purpose. Just makes washing hands and dishes easier with a little pressure.

Amazing build, where you able to get the Red Arc stuff from a US vender? If so would you share it? Thanks.

Juniper Overland supplied and installed the RedArc system

Is the second battery tied in to the main battery at all? Or is it a stand alone with just the solar charger?

It is tied into the main battery as well

@Wrench77 - I was looking at the readyair kit and noticed that they have a spacer for the factory bump stops. Does it look like that will limit suspension up-travel on you set-up? I guess they do this to prevent the air bags from compressing too much but at the expense of limiting up-travel

My guess is it will depend on how much you have the back end raised up. I have the AS 2.5 leveling kit up front so I have the back end raised to give me about 3/4" rake. I have 4 1/2" between the axle and bump stop so I don't think it will reduce up travel.

This was my concern as well. The airbag has a lobe inside that limits the travel.

I wasn't as concerned about bump, as much as articulation. But when you are at max twist the bump stop might not come into play, since with one side drooped all the way down, the axle would be farther away from the bumpstop at any given height.

I used to work for these guys when they were AccuAir, but haven't made it over now that they're a part of the WheelPros empire. I had questions like this to ask them, but was waiting till my truck arrived.
