700miles on the truck and 1st week of ownership, 1st off road. 100% stock 402a Tremor with the front Torsen. Mild trail with many moderate rock crawling sections. Packed dirt, loose gravel, sand and other desert terrain.
Overall Impression: Very capable stock truck and im happy.

The good: Stock suspension travel / articulation is very good. Trail turn assist really works well. Front Torsen and the rear locker make a phenomenal combo, tons of traction over the big rocks and off camber spots. Very comfortable ride over the bumps. The front view camera lets you see over the big hills. I had pitch of over 25degrees and the camera helped me see over the crest. The on screen tire guides line up perfectly to where the tires actually go. The front bash plate works well.

Undecided: All the different modes and one pedal driving. The one pedal drive was definitely helpful over the large rocks on a steep hill. I found myself setting up my own config with low range / locker when needed instead of using the modes. I may get use to them but am still old school and like to drive without the nannys.

The Bad : The side steps (deff not rock sliders) look really cool but are a liability off road. I hit them 3 times while rock crawling. 1st thing When they are available for the 2021 will be new proper rocksliders. the front is a little low for moderate + trails. A two inch proper level that does not compromise travel will be nice when its available. Not much else, the truck is as advertised and does a lot very well.

You've just confirmed exactly what I've been planning. Thanks much. I have calls in to RCI to see if they're interested in making sliders. if not, I may need to drive out to White Knuckle to get some fitted. Since you're near a cactus... maybe swing by there. I'm sure it's on the way to Florida :).
Oh, and tires, change those tires if you're going to be doing much more around sharp rocks/branches.

Ha you caught the FL plate next to cactus 😜, bought it from a dealer we have a relationship with in FL. This truck will live in the desert so good sliders are a must! By the way when you scrape the factory side steps that stick out farther than the tires it sounds TERRIBLE like you just ruined your new truck hahah. Ive looked at the RCI and white knuckle designs while they seem very functional I just dont care for the look. I really like these guys I've had their stuff on other vehicles. Super strong and look awesome. I’m going to wait for them to make these for the 2021’s :

good to know. They are in my build list and I'm in Tennessee. I could take the truck to them for a long weekend and let them confirm the 21 size.
I'm still not absolutely sure about how solid they are compared to White Knuckle. I've used WK on 3 trucks and it is my number 1 suspension component. (I use them to make turns). I don't think twice about dropping them on a rock with a 7K pound truck. The rocky road have much shorter fulcrums so if they are a 3 point, I could see them possibly working well.

Can you use them as a jack point for wheel changes, etc.? Thinking about my pneumatic chassis jack launching the foot through the rails.

Yes you can use them as a jack point. I just looked at WK and was confused I do really like the look and function if these! Looks like the 1st one to make a 21 rail gets my money. Thank you for the enlightenment Yeti!

Honestly, I'm a lot closer to RR than WK so... Maybe I can talk them into a forum discount.

Great review.
Did you smash the running boards? Or did you just end up with moderate scraping?
Guess besides the wheel well liners Ill plan on getting some proper sliders as well.

Great info!
Also, great pictures. Is that somewhere in FLA? (Edit) I just caught your other post in this thread about the FLA plates.

Question - Do you have wheel well liners on the truck? Husky?
