Got it. I have an old 2001 F150 SuperCrew 4x4 that works like a dream in tough conditions, can throw chains on all fours and she chugs along without any problems. She’s heading down the road, Tremor is replacing it, hopefully I will work even better than the old gal.
Does anyone have a link to a video showing how to remove the counter console? I purchased all the items needed to do the cup holder and median bin lights, don’t want to break anything or make it harder than it needs to be.
Thanks!
Thanks for the reply. I have checked that out, great resource. What I’m trying to figure out is, will the taller height but skinnier tire have more room than the shorter fatter tire when turning with a coil over in place. Seems like the 285s may have slightly more room but I’m not sure, thus...
I want the ability to run chains on all four at times when deep into the backcountry.
Which size tire will allow better clearance for chains between 285/75/18 or 295/70/18 with a Halo lift?
I think I’m going to change my user name to “Almost Level”. Love the truck, had it two weeks now but the wallowing ride and some of the rake has to go. I’m leaning towards the Halo right now, is it a lot tighter even with stock tires?
Trying to decide what kit to buy to lift the front end a little and improve on and off road performance. So much info, hard time making a decision on the different options.
How would you rate the positives and negatives of the Fox Snap Ring vs Halo?
Thanks for the help!
The drive was a lot of fun, surprisingly easy for wintertime. We went IA, down to KS, CO, NM, AZ then home, three nights. Gas was 2.89 until you hit AZ, bumped up to 3.39 then CA, ugh!
