Can you update this thread with your setup for the community please? Trying to keep as much information on this topic centralized as possible. So far so good. No clearance issues, no rubbing whatsoever offroad. I've gotten the rear pretty clapped out on either tires and I've still got about an inch before things start rubbing. The front is prefect, the articulation offered by my setup (1" top-of-strut, 2" in-strut) means it bottoms out before it has a chance to hit anything in the wheel-well. Full droop there are no collisions between spring + UCA.
Glass Slipper.
On the rears, did you add 1" (spacer) to the bump stop since you went from 2" block to 1" block? No rub inside teh rear fender at full articulation? Which block did you use? Thank you.Just wanted to share my latest mod(s), already made a post about my suspension upgrades earlier but I'll share them again.
Suspension: 2" level from Bilstein B8 6112s (and a 1" spacer), B8 5160s in the rear.
Wheels: 17" Method 703 (Bead Grip) in Matte Black
Tires: LT 34x12 Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T
I've got about 1/4 inch of clearance in the back of the front wheel wells at full lock, just for reference. The tire sits at 33.6" installed, 34.1" inflated not installed. Perfect fit.
The 0 offset from the Method wheels create an extra 1.5"-2" of poke from factory with these tires, just enough but not too much. Rough Country SF1 Fender Flares are going on next to prevent rock chips. Looking forward to seeing how the Bead Grips on these wheels work when tires are deflated. I have a Dirt Church Industries ARB Air Compressor kit on the way, will install behind passenger seat.
Also installed an RCI Transmission, Gas tank skid plate [rear-differential skid on the way] since I do plan on doing a fair bit of moderate level 4-5 trails in the future. I tend to break things so I figure it was worth the investment. Anyone curious about the Skid Plates, they are 15% off site-wide for tax season, orders over $1000 get another 10%. Worth the money.
