4.4 million vehicles! Holy recalls! Our totally honest and virtuous journalist are running to the presses to push this news out as soon as possible…because they care so much about your safety! This is devastating. What are we going to do! The lines at the dealership will be months long. Oh the humanity!!!
Wait, it’s just a routine OTA software update to fix an estimated 1% of the “recalled” vehicles because of a software bug…but we are going to call this a “recall”?
My iPhone updates every week, is that a recall??? My PC does the same thing as with everything using software these days.
As a population we should probably worry more about how journalists have become more dishonest and slimy than salesmen and lawyers. <climbs off soapbox>
