Did you buy an extended warranty?

Here is what flood ford could offer you, looks like you did pretty good , just call them back and let them know you want to add key and bulb coverage.

I get rental but I asked him and he said lightbulb add on wasn't an option.. I dunno why? I'll have to check the brochure later to see if keys are excluded too.

Maybe I'll take a screenshot and post the whole excluded section you guys can tell me if it's worth keeping or not haha

Possible because you didn't get premium care, you got platinum. Might not be a Ford ESP that you got also. You really only want a Ford ESP, and premium with the lighting package included. Granger was 6 years/125k miles premium ESP with lighting for $2k.

Alright i gotta take kids to school and the warranty is in the brochure so i'll bring it in on my way back.. in the meantime can you guys explain why i'd need the ford premium vs the one i got? More parts covered under warranty maybe? This one has a "data dots" system and some other stuff... he said if the truck is totaled or stolen and can't be recovered while i have this system on the truck the company will pay me an additional 5k over what the insurance company gives me. The only other add ons were like an interior/exterior coating protection but i didn't go for that because i do want to get ceramic coating done on mine as soon as i can anyway.

I don’t see a platinum care offering in the OEM Ford ESP, you really want to stay Ford ESP because it will be honored at any Ford dealership, I don’t have experience with 3rd party warranties but have heard horrible stories of being denied due to the current moon cycle ect ect… also, with the LED lights, the cost of 1 headlight is more than I paid for my 8 year 100k plan so you definitely want the lighting.

Basically this as far as Ford vs 3rd party. The premium care is the best value and covers the most, get it from flood or Zeigler if you can. Granger was competitive for me so I just got it there.

Here are some screenshots of the warranty brochure while I'm waiting in the dentist parking lot. It says includes features from gold and powertrain as well so I think the powertrain is covered for 10 years as well?

Are the exclusions listed below worse than normal? I don't like that the lighting isn't covered at the very least...

*Oh also just remembered I did also choose an add on that specifically covered both tire and wheel replacements. So I got the "data dots" security/recovery add on and full tire and wheel replacement with this.

Just did a quick quote on the Ziegler website and with the $250 off coupon i'm seeing $1,790 for 8yr 100k $100 deductible & lights & keys. Not too much more than the $1,400 i paid for mine that includes tires & wheels but not lights and keys. I'm torn on what to do. Crap help! haha

Just my opinion, but if I were in your situation and could get out of the warranty you just got, I'd do that and get the Ford ESP Premium. Less hassle if you use it in my opinion, dealer takes care of everything for you. I got the same 8 yr 100K with lights & keys for basically same price you are seeing on Ziegler but got it directly from my dealer. I had to haggle a little but they ended up matching the price in the end so I jumped on it. Well worth peace of mind with the amount of tech on these trucks.

Where did you find that coupon?

It's just the one pasted all over the web "PAYINFULL"

I finally got around to looking at my loan paperwork again and noticed that the 10yr warranty they sold me was ~4,600 with $0 deductible. When I was at the dealership he said if I agreed to this warranty they were authorized to give me another $2,000 of the price of the truck (rebate) essentially making the warranty $1,400 but that was before dropping deductible from $100 to $0. He didn't mention that the tire and wheel was an additional $700 and only 7 year, and the data dots theft was an additional $300 and only 3 year. He made it sound like the price was all inclusive and everything a full 10 years. Now I've had the truck for a couple weeks and not sure if I can even call him back and get the warranty swapped out or not or if it's even worth it. 10yr $0 deductible is nice and coverage exclusions seem about the same between this and Ford ESP I just don't have the lights covered. Crap I dunno what to do.

You get a prorated refund if you cancel. I'd probably cancel right before trading it in because I'm sure a dealer wouldn't up it to match.

I told my dealer I'd rather support local business if he could get it within spitting distance of Ziegler. He did so I did.

Granger announced today that they are selling the Ford ESP for $50 over their cost for Broncos and $100 over their cost for all other Ford vehicles including F150’s. From comments posted on the Bronco6g website, it looks like this makes the Ford ESP price slightly lower or equal to Flood’s price. You do not have to purchase a vehicle from Granger to take advantage of this offer. I don’t have any details other than what I’ve posted.

Does one accrue Ford Pass points when you purchase the f-150 tremor? If so, how many points would that equate to?

Yep! You’ll get 4200 points I believe. ~$210👍🏻

My dealer uses Zurich and wanted $7300 for there platinum package. $3700 for 10 year 100k warranty and a maintenance package that consists of 10 oil changes and tire rotations. I did not purchase an ESP.

I just bought mine through Flood Ford. Premium Care, 8 year, 100k miles, 200 deductible. Was $1,555 but I used my purchase points which took $210 off so total amount was $1,345. Not a bad deal at all I believe.
