Did you buy an extended warranty?

I got the 8 year 100k with lights and keys from flood, kept my last 2 F-150’s past 100k and with all the bells and whistles in this one such as the dynamic bending lights I’d rather have and not need than need and not have!

How much was that?

$1900 with a $50 deductible, but I totally forgot to use my Ford pass points! I may have been a few whiskies in… I’ll call them and see if it’s to late to apply them.

Anyone know the value of 23k FP points? Can these be applied towards it? I plan on ordering via the Flood website.

Does anyone on here have the lifetime powertrain warranty from their dealer? I believe I read where the Granger dealership has the lifetime powertrain. Just curious if anyone has ever utilized it and what stipulations you have to follow.

Wanted to check back in, I just heard back from Flood Ford and 42000 ford magical tokens will get you $210 off of your ESP, they are applying mine now. WootWoot!

Last vehicle I bought being five years BCE (Before Coocoo Era), wondering if anyone else thinking out the likelihood of quality issues in the current environment. I realize I have a slanted view, working in QA at a manufacturing company, but with all of the supply chain disruptions, layoffs, labor issues, stress, difficulties surrounding masks/distancing, etc... well, #$%^ happens. And it's happening bigger and bigger with every passing week. Discrepancies and nonconforming products are often not caught until weeks/months/years after the fact, and I honestly considered buying pre-2020 for this very reason. Until I fell under the Tremor trance. Just wondering if anyone else considering this with warranties.

I worry. Fact of the matter is that companies can’t afford to fire workers right now because everyone is short straggled. The worker that would have been fired 4 years ago is a valued employee now because he shows up every day. World has gone crazy man.

Anyone else get the 1/5/2022 price increase notice on Ford ESPs?

I did see that on floods website, I wasn’t sure if it was a hurry up and buy tactic but I guess not!

I got an email from Ziegler. Looks like it decision time even though I won’t have my truck for a couple of weeks.

Just an FYI for you Granger folks they have very competitive rates for the Ford premium ESP. Zeigler/flood Ford comparable rates. I am getting mine through Granger.

Comparable as in the same price or cheaper? If it’s more than Flood, you’re just wasting money. No reason not to but from Flood if they are the cheapest.

Flood apparently doesn't work in Florida anymore due to some issue with online service contracts not being available to Florida anymore. As far as Zeigler it was cheaper at Granger and for Flood it was the same price from what I can tell. Just shooting the info out, for me it's the way to go due to Flood not being available, and it's easier doing it all under Granger.

I got the 8yr 100k ford warranty thru Granger. $30 over invoice. Beware at first pass led lights are not included. You have to add it.

Very interesting that you guys got a Ford Plan through Granger. When I financed my deal with Granger three weeks ago, Eric their finance guy, told me they did not have the Ford plans. He tried to sell me on a VSC ( Vehicle Service Contract) through a company called EG Assurance. I passed.

Just FYI, you can roll your ford magic tokens into your esp. I got $210 for 42,000 points when I got my 8y/100k through flood.

Javan in their finance dept said they just got authorized to sell Ford plans.

I got a lifetime power train warranty from Parks Parks Ford, can be used at any parks Dealership in the US. There is a 5000.00 cap on covered repairs.

Sales rep talked me into a 10 year 100k mile $100 deductible "platinum" warranty for $1,400... glancing at the plan on the way home there are several things it doesn't cover including "light bulbs" ... probably doesn't cover keys and stuff like that. Should i cancel this extended warranty and go with something different? I haven't looked through the full details of the plan yet haha it all went so fast.
