How many miles did you get out of your stock tires?

50k and only changes them because I was bored. They would have made the full 60k but I like having a lot of meat on them

Got 42k out of the Grabbers. I might drive the truck a bit harder than most.

Hey all -
Looking down the road at the (painful) day I'll have to re-tire my Tremor. Love the look and performance of the stock tires, but curious how many miles folks are getting out of them in the real world. Anyone who has replaced their original stock tires - how many miles did you get out of them before they required replacement?
60000 on my 2018 FX4

This thread is making me feel really good about my stock tires! I have 28k on mine (bought used 6k miles ago) and was wondering what to expect for longevity. I came from sports cars where 10k-20k miles every change is fairly normal.

just under 50k, cold have gotten a bit more but like BigRed said, winter was a comin'! And i reeeeaaaaly couldn't wait any longer to go to 35's!

I've had nothing but great experiences with Toyo tires.
The AT IIs were the worst tire I have ever had bar none. So bad that I have never given Toyo another chance, even though I have heard the AT IIIs are good. Given how the stock Grabbers are performing for me personally and the mileage shown here I plan to stick with them when mine need replacing. I am at 42k and will easily get another 10k+ before changing.

I've also been pretty satisfied with the General Grabbers ATx's. I've hated some of the General Tires I've had in the past. I replaced the ones on my 2015 Lariat at around 5,000 miles because they were shit. In the rain I had to use 4A just to keep the truck pointed in the right direction. They were trash.

2023. My OEM grabbers have 13,000 miles on em. But have really odd cracking happening.
Here is a picture of one of my tires. They all look the same. Nice even tread wear
(as you’d expect at 13,000 miles)
But I’ve never seen this sort of cracking around the tread lugs on any other tire.
Seems superficial for now but my confidence in the quality of these tires is rattled for sure.

That's definitely not okay or normal. I would definitely be looking at a warranty replacement on those!

I had mine for 50k km. In eastern Canada, brought it to the dealer and they said it was fine. Would not Warrenty. I don’t like it so I got a set of Toyo open countrys

Yea there are so many variables for ford to wriggle out of warranty. They will probably just say you didn’t have them inflated properly or some other impossible to prove BS

Yea they told me they are bk and keep driving on them

I've got 36k on my set and I feel like I've needed new ones about 10k miles ago 😅

Changed mine at 41000. I pull a 7000 lb travel trailer most of the year and was seeing some cracks like pictured above. Probably could have got more, but peace of mind and not wanting to chance a blowout while traveling made for an easy decision. Put BFG KO3 on. I usually run about 40 lbs which makes for a little stiffer ride but loaded up and pulling the travel trailer it is what it is.

I changed mine at just over 40k miles, not because they were worn out, but because winter was coming and I didn't think there was sufficient tread; at least not enough to make me warm and fuzzy. If I wasn't worried about snow and ice, I would have kept driving them.

I considered another set of Generals, but ended up with BFG KO3s instead. Slightly more expensive, but not horrifically so. I was happy with the stock tires, which was a surprise because generally the OEM tires on Fords are crap. The Grabbers handled everything I threw at them.
