What's new

May 9th Build Week Thread

Same.
Looks like smoke but it’s possible there’s some movement.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Hopefully yours is on the move, mine would be right behind it (maybe with?!)

TBH unless it's being loaded up when these updates come, I don't want anymore updates.

Easier for me to ignore this until I get the call from Chip that it's in than trying to plan travel and what not for a made up delivery week for the 4th time.

Going to get it eventually, unless the delivery truck flips, which feels like it's happening way too often? Think I've seen 3 folks post about it between here and the 4thgen board.

Anyway... Glad I'm so patient 🤣🤦🏻‍♂️

Fellas, I hate that you all are getting shafted. I ordered mine 3/15. It arrived last Thursday and I picked it up Monday from the dealer. I have no idea why mine got delivered before those of you who placed orders months ahead of me. I did have intentions of ordering through Granger, but a local dealer basically got within $1200 of Granger’s offer. So, I went local. I got lucky I suppose. It is nice however. It was definitely worth the wait for me. Hoping yours gets delivered soon. The lot was full of trucks and Broncos at this dealer in Austin, and they had a couple of Tremors on the lot from customers who backed out. Most trucks I’ve seen at a dealer in a year.

You just come in here to flex on us like that??!

😂

I'd imagine it's a mix of people who got fed up with waiting and folks who got priced out with the rate hikes.. fun times to be in the market for a truck!

It’s not like that, 😎

I may be a little optimistic here, but I think there may be some movement on my truck stuck in shipping purgatory.

After my truck was built, on the FordPass app one of my kids tried to activate the truck on 5/29.

Now I just got a notification on my phone/app the activation request was denied. Not sure if the activation request times out (after 6 weeks and 3 days) OR if someone started the truck and denied the request, meaning they’re loading it on a transport. OR they ran out of room in the parking lot and had to move it to make more room for other trucks.

Coincidence or actual movement?

Ford relocated their customer service folks to parking lot duty, where instead of something useful they turn on trucks and deny ford pass access.

Kidding 🤣 hopefully it is movement for you!

Glutton for punishment here...

Another stellar update 🥱

Moved the shipping date again to 7/28-8/3... Apparently it's been 'received' by a carrier at the 'origin plant ramp' but awaiting shipment.

likely story Ford 👀

Blend 5/10
"Built" 6/4
Shipping dates: 6/25-7/1, 7/10-7/16, 7/28-8/3

I’ve looked around but haven’t found any info-anyone know what “actual placement of car in Missouri” means?

I’ve been tracking on Norfolk Southern tracking system, and it’s moved from MI to IL now to MO.

I’m assuming it means it’s reached final rail destination and will be loaded in truck from KC area to Des Moines?

Anyway to track the trucking shipment? Ford chat was no help.

It'd be real cool if a few of ours were also on that train heading to Granger too 😑

Finally!! I’m assuming this app is the most up to date; ford tracker still says shipped; haven’t heard from Granger yet-sucks it’s a Saturday and I’m traveling all next week-hopefully next weekend!

So, Ford has changed their tactics. Instead of the weekly update email where they keep pushing the build date, they go ahead and tell you it's in production, my tracker said it moved to production July 19th, but it just stays in that purgatory. Today I received this email:

"We understand it has been too long since you last heard from us. Just wanted to give you an update on the status of your F-150 Tremor® order. While production of your vehicle was projected to begin the week of July 18, 2022, supply chain challenges continue to cause delays and uncertainty.

This is frustrating, we get it. We want nothing more than to get your Ford up on the line and start assembling it. And we will continue to work hard to reduce the delays to try to get you on the road in your new vehicle soon.

We’ll be sure to keep you updated as we get more information, at least once every 45 days. Hang in there. We really do appreciate your patience and understanding
."

It's nice to know their customer's would like an update every six weeks or so .

I guess I'll just keep lurking around here and waiting for you guys to try out all the suspension options and install your swarfworks winch bracket and FMIC so I can nail down what I want to do. It's not like I've already "nailed it down" a few different times already.....

I hear ya, buddy. Mine's been "built" since 6/2. Dealer swears up and down it's not on chip hold. Out of the purgatory into the purgatory.

Finally got my window sticker. 08/07 blend date. Now I get to stress the built and shipped unknown wait. I hope they build quality trucks on Sundays!!

Charky,

I'm in the same exact boat my brother. I've got a production date according to the Ford Tracker of 19 July and a blend date that matches.

Also got the beautiful email from Ford on 28 July saying sorry not sorry. Did the Ford live chat thing and after having some very confusing conversations about what the actual status of my truck was, - chip shortage was the best I got. She did say my delivery date hasn't changed which is literally this week and they haven't updated the status since July 19th... clearly not happening.

My truck is alive though, its on FordPass at least.

I'm almost afraid to say anything, like telling a pitcher he's got a no-hitter going....

Same haha

saw the "in transit" on the order track app this weekend along with the ford tracker saying shipped.

Got the ford email today that it shipped 8/8-/8/14 expected.

I'm hopeful that it delivers timely. Desperately need to pick it up before EOM. Which means things need to run *smooth*... Which also means prob a September pick up haha

Well, I’m still in “scheduled for production” since July 19th… I’m praying for any updates. Got the window sticker and Ford Pass so who knows at this point.
I'll stop feeling bad for myself now, wow. Can't believe this but hopefully something happens for you. I'd imagine with the window sticker and ford pass update, it's made its way down the line.
