Looks like Ford will bring the 15th gen model of the F150 for the 2029 year model.

Some of the tech rumors are braking by wire and column free steering technology.

What news/rumors are you hearing?

The 14th gen was already leaping into braking by wire with its electric motor controlled brake booster that you don’t technically engage directly unless a severe situation occurs. I figured this would be the way they would continue to push towards but the column-less steering sounds wild.

Digital rear view mirror for sure will be coming to the higher trims. I know Ford has had this as a pain point from customers when comparing to other OEM’s having them almost standard now. I’ve been looking to do the swap myself and put the camera in the third brake light. Also hear a coast to coast dash like the Navigator/Expedition is coming too and hopefully a little more innovative with storage/tray sections so you can put things up and away when sitting in the truck. The new dash in those SUV’s is different but so far I have gotten used to it after driving with it more.

We can almost be certain that the next model will have fewer physical controls compared to the current trucks.
