Truck is built!

Ford chat gave me railcar information. Norfolk Southern is transporting my truck. It is currently at ramp 58 in Melvindale, MI. ETA to the dealer on 5/2.

Tracking the truck by railcar is more annoying than using the tracker. Lol

Debated which vehicle to take to work this morning, and it was the wrong one. When I got to the Shop this morning my Tremor was sitting there. On a side note I was not aware that Ford built a Texas special edition Tremor.

How did you get such information?

That's the info that ford chat provided. I've been calling the Norfolk Southern tracking number to get updates.

Oviss tracking is showing truck is pending pickup! Looks like Syrita was right. I'll know for sure in a few days.

Flew out to Philadelphia with my son on Thursday morning and made it back to KC last night. We took a meandering trip home. Took mainly backroads all the way back. Amazed with the truck. The technology is amazing. Blue Cruise is great on the open road. I have zero complaints except for the rear shocks. They are garbage but have a Fox set being delivered Tuesday. The worst part of the trip was in the final 200 miles. A hailstorm came up while driving and I have 3 small dings in my hood and roof.

I think the B&O Unleashed sounds great with the right song. If the music is set up for HD surround, the speakers are phenomenal. I found that a lot of GenX rock songs sound the best and really bring out the headrest speakers.

I averaged 17 mpg with premium but majority of my trip was through mountain/steep hills. I will say thatSW PA, Western Maryland and West Virginia are gorgeous parts of the country. Unbelievably beautiful country. Definitely planning on going back.

It's raining today so I'll have to wait to install the bed rug, tonneau, wheel well liners and the other items filling my garage up.

Congratulations Texican. Hope those dings can be pulled out.

Obligatory rear axle shots. Minor rust on shaft side, nothing major.

Wow dude consider yourself lucky, that is very minor! Mine was really rusted, the whole thing left to right.

Congrats on the pick up! (See what I did there?)

Yeah, I was dreading it. Didn't even look until I got home. Didn't want to drive thinking about it.

Congrats Texican! Sounds like a nice trip home. If never done, you should drive the Blue Ridge Parkway sometime. Gorgeous country, and some great hikes along the way.

I've driven that a few times, my wife is from the Tri Cities area. We used to go back nearly once a year. Love that part of the country.
