Wheel rub

Has anyone had any issues with rubbing on the skid plate at full lock? Mine rubs on the passenger side after getting new tires installed.

What tires did you go with? That makes all the difference in the world as some are slightly larger than their size might indicate.

From what I can figure out, the skid plate size increased at some point and if you have the larger skid plate and install larger tires they can rub. I have 35x11.5r18 AT4Ws and they rubbed the skid plate.

You can go to a smaller one like the rci or grind off the section that rubs

Yeah I believe I’d have to do a little grinding on that section. If I’m careful when turning left I can just avoid the rub altogether but it’s still something that bugs me.
