Haven’t posted in a minute because of life things but I finally picked up my truck! Although it has it few quirks, I do love it! One of my biggest things I’m going to bring up to the dealer is my headlights. Can you all confirm I’m not crazy and my left headlight has a weird shadow?

It looks like your lights are out of alignment. Both side to side and up and down.

Yep, you’d think they’d align them at the factory, it’s a brand new truck that I picked up from the dealership like this. Not that the dealership drives it at night, they are just sooo bad.

Do they do the little dance when you start the truck? I “think” that’s a self calibration procedure. Not sure though.

Any tips on correcting this without the dealer? I know I can get the screwdriver and tape measure out but I feel like it’s kinda ridiculous given it’s a brand new truck. At this point it’s out of principle that it should not be up to me to have aligned headlight on a brand new truck.

Mine look like that, but not as bad. My lights also seem higher. Mine do the "self calibration dance" every time I start it though.

That’s the reason the lights move in the first place, but I imagine they do that sequence at start up as a calibration procedure.
I'm pretty sure they still have to be in proper adjustment in the first place though.

Not sure if this was discussed I didn't read all of the posts yet but might be able to shut it off?
