6112's come with new upper mounts?!
I'm used to reusing that part with 5100s and the pictures did not show new mounts.
Did you order yours pre-assembled?

They do not come with new mounts but depending on where you purchase them from, some retailers can ship them to you assembled with new mounts for a bit more money or you’ll have to reuse your OEM ones which means the 6112’s will come un-assembled.

Yes I ordered mine unassembled thinking I'd just reuse mounts as usual. But i want longer studs to achieve the split lift.
I found a Shock Surplus assembly video on YT and the guy said they pre-assemble with KYB parts. And the studs on the assembly he held did look a little longer.
So I looked up images of the KYB SM5727, but the studs don't appear any longer than stock.
I'll probably order a pair and hope for the best.
