Doug, out of curiosity, is yours missing the ambient lighting and the digital readout on the HVAC control knobs? I think mine went into production just after yours but then went on chip hold.

Affirmative.
No ambient lighting in the cup areas, and the HVAC digi readout on the knobs is not present.
The infotainment system does display each HVAC temperature setting, which seems to work as a quick reference of temp settings well enough.
It shows Driver side, Passenger side and outside temp. So not really missing the readout on the knobs.

Do you like looking at a truck and seeing it as basically clean? Unless I get into some extreme mud I can't tell without getting up close if this thing is dirty or not. That's been the best thing about this color, I would have preferred a different color myself but this thing was just below mrsp and I got a killer trade in ony 2017, so I took it. No regrets, I actually like the color now, never liked silver before now though.

All the cars/trucks that I have purchased new were some shade of silver. I am personally more attracted to the darker blues and blacks, but I just cant keep up with the maintenance on those colors. Especially on something this big.
The color silver, though I do think it looks awesome, is really more of a practical choice for me. Much like FaKtor said before, you cannot see dirt on this color. The water marks are almost invisible, and dust simply disappears into it. I'm sure there's some nerdy reason as to why, but I don't know what it is. And I don't care. All I know is it looks clean for weeks after I wash it.
Its NOT clean, but it LOOKS clean. Which makes my life a ton easier.

Except then you get people like @Yeti stating the truck looks clean when you want it to look dirty for a true off-road pic! Sorry I had done 1.5 miles along a muddy trail following a gas pipeline when I took the pic, and about 6 miles on a dirt fire road to get to it, and then he says my truck looks clean..... Again curse silver!!!

That's my dramatic way of saying you will love silver unless you want it to look used, then you will find just how well it hides dirt, I wash the truck about every 2-3 weeks, and about every 3 washes I use a ceramic quick detailer to wipe it down. Particularly the front end this time of year, lots of bugs, and it cleans up easily.

Silver is great with the black accents. But need to tint the windows and install the real wheel well liner. It definitely stays looking clean for weeks.

Nice! I don't live in Texas anymore but my family still has a little house on the Frio that they built in the 70s. Having easy access to that is one of the main things I miss about Texas.
