Changed the oil tonight , 1st oil change, with oil life showing 35% at 6300+ miles.

I purchased Amsoil Signature series 5w 30 synthetic. 2 gallons and i hear i need about .8 of a quart to be at the ideal fill level. May have to mix some Mobil 1 synthetic. as capacity is 8.8 quarts
Anyhoo - oil change was easy - though the oil pan plug was not tightened much at all. oil draining was super easy nothing to get in way of oil drain. oil filter was easy and Ford did a good job of creating an oil filter loose oil drain. Nice touch.
easy filter access. no issues.
Oil condition- oil was dark, no burnt smells but i will probably monitor it at 5k, though this Amsoil oil is rated for a longer time 25,000 mile, im not quite trusting of such claims. anyone know anything different on the Amsoil claims?

***I definitely am changingthe 1st trans fluid and flush at 15,000 miles and replacing it with Amsoil.
The claims by Amsoil state 25,000 miles.
