What is the actual difference with speed and acceleration between the 3.5 and the v8 is there a video or anything ? I guarantee the difference is nothing to brag about I mean i could buy a shit box $1000 4 banger and throw 2 turbos on it and it would be fast too haha atleast the v8 dont sound like a clapped out honda civic with a advanced auto fart can on it

Ecoboost vs 5.0...blah blah..just save your opinions and arguments and be grateful to own a Ford! Personal preference on the engine. Search Youtube and you'll see a ton of 5.0s pulling below 10 secs, so what? Any car/truck can go fast if you spend money into it. You can spend time and money so the EB sounds better than a tin can rattling on a bike. We should all be united against Hybrids/Evs...You can go to Jolly Pirate Donuts and take a 2 hr shit for all I care.

Empty trucks, there's a difference for sure. Tons of videos on YouTube if you are curious.

Throw a trailer behind each one, that's where you will really notice a difference. Not only does the EB have lots more torque, but it peaks earlier in the curve and the curve is flatter overall so it's just more usable.

So 0-60 times don't much matter to me, it's a truck.

But being able to pass a semi on a hill while I'm towing my boat does matter to me because, it's a truck.

I dont really tow anything to be honest i recently just bought a new house with changes i want to make so im gonna need the bed space and also for hunting purposes haha my wifes father has a 3.5 raptor i have driven it plenty of times its a beautiful truck but that 3.5 is just not for me no hard feelings just a v8 guy plus the 5.0 is one of the most reliable v8s on the market

If you’re happy with your truck I don’t want to yuck your yum. But don’t pretend it’s superior when its performance is worse in every category except how it sounds. Ironic because V8 guys only like the sound because it’s associated with better performance when compared with a (NA) V6.

Beg to differ on that last part. V6s just sound bad. Not all 6 cylinders do. I6 sounds great. Love a good ol BMW or japanese straight 6 sound.
Also why the new raptor got a exhaust redesign. Now it sounds leaps better with that trombone thing they added.

Just stating that love for sound isn't just because it's associated to being faster than v6 because you can say v8s are also faster than i6. Plain and simple v6 sound worse because they sound worse.

Side note. I'm excited to hear what the Ram Hurricane engine twin turbo inline six is going to sound.

Just test drove a v8 tremor. Sound and feel is amazing! Gives the truck character. You feel and hear the V8 in the cab. If you like hearing your coyote rev up this is it. Glad I got the v8. Ecoboost was too tame and quiet . Yeah maybe when I get older I'll appreciate it more but for now that V8 just sounds badass. Got a new video clip I'm going to upload.
